by visual artist, Kim Barker. She lives with her family on the Eastern Central Coast of Australia,
but is busy linking artists world wide via the Top Artist's Directory , and manages two other blogs: PoeArtica.blogspot.com and her own blog: laketrees.blogspot.com. Talk about energetic!
The Interstitial Arts Foundation
Wendy is on the Executive board of this intriguing organization which supports and promotes art that flourishes in the borderlands between disciplines, mediums and cultures. Site includes discussion boards, calendar of events, articles on interstitial arts and more.
The Mythic Imagination Institute
Movers and shakers in the world of myth, story, and activism.
Check out their Mythic Passage on-line journal as well as all the events they announce and are involved in. Since attending Mythic Journeys 06 in Atlanta, Wendy has become increasing involved with this group. In October 08, she completed the year long Certificate Program in Applied Mythology co-sponsored by the Mythic Imagination Institute and the NYC Open Center.
Her article "The Phoenix Rises in Art and Story" appears in the Winter 2009 issue of Mythic Passages. It explains some of her involvement with the group....and about the book she is writing!
